Ms Rosa in Strength A cologe of people,and leaders Of strength representing the Civil Rights Movement,now featured at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis Tenn. This represents my entry into a Contest that the Museum was endorsing.While the identity of the people are obvious,The supporting figures may need to be explained. The dogs mouths are what the protesters saw during the protests.The fire hoses framing the piece,is representative of the "hosing " of the protesters.At the bottom are tear drops containing the words No Col All.This is half of the sign reading"No colored Allowed".
